Nollaig Chridheil agus Bliadhna Mhath Ùr! In case you hadn’t guessed, this is Scottish Gaelic for Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (well, actually, Christmas Hearty and Year Good New, but the sentiment is the same!). Thank you for supporting me this year and I hope you continue to enjoy my adventures in Scotland’s great outdoors in 2016.  I’ll be back shortly with a proper round-up of 2015 and to welcome in the New Year. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a photograph of me from 1989 in which I’m holding a toy camera given to me by Santa at the playgroup Christmas party – day one of a lifelong love of photography!
Happy Christmas! Weren’t you cute? And how nice to be able to date a life-long passion so pecisely.
Thanks Anabel. I love this photo! Merry Christmas to you too!
Merry Christmas to you and all your family Karen 🙂
If your photos are as good next year as they have been this year, you’re going to have an amazing 2016!!
Whoever bought you that little pink camera is a true star, if that’s what lead you to where you are today 🙂
Thank you Andy. A very Merry Christmas to you and your family too! I have lots of ideas up my sleeve for 2016 so I think it’s going to be a good year! It’s funny to think that grabbing a random present out of Santa’s sack at the age of four may have contributed to where I am today! 🙂
